"This book had me hooked from the beginning. The storytelling was phenomenal. The descriptions and details were so delicately woven, it was so easy for me to picture each and every scene in my head. The author is a fantastic writer who knows how to tell a compelling story. The ending had me on the edge of my seat. It was hard to put down. My only complaint is that it wasn't longer! I'd love to read more stories in this world. I highly recommend this book, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this."

"I loved this book! The story was fast-paced, and the characters were lovable, but still human. (Except for Galt - he was just lovable.) Quarralia and Eirian's friendship was a nice touch. Claira Teichroeb's descriptions are wonderfully put-together; and I especially loved the poetry at the start of every chapter: lyrical and beautiful, all the way through."
